Chen Kaibing
Director of the Sleep Disorders Department at Gansu University of Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, Ph.D. Supervisor. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Sleep Professional Committee of the Chinese Gerontology and Geriatrics Society, Standing Director of the Gansu Sleep Research Association, and Director of the Youth Committee of the Gansu Sleep Research Association. He is a nationally renowned sleep medicine expert.
He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, with particular expertise in integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine approaches for insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, sleepwalking, REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD), and sleep and psychological disorders in adolescents. He has led or participated in over ten national and provincial research projects, published more than 10 SCI and 10 CSCD papers on sleep-related topics, and authored or co-authored four books and textbooks.

Rehabilitation Department Overview
The Heavy Ion Rehabilitation Department is a key emerging discipline at our hospital. Guided by the principles of "humanity, care, encouragement, and assistance," it focuses on serving patients with tumors, psychosomatic diseases, and sleep disorders. The department adopts an integrated approach of "mind-body treatment + traditional Chinese medicine + modern rehabilitation" and is committed to comprehensive rehabilitation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and full-cycle intervention. Services include 10S sleep management, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychological counseling, TCM, and traditional Chinese medicine therapies. The goal is to improve patients' quality of life, delay disease progression, extend survival, and facilitate their return to society.

Psychosomatic Sleep Center Overview
Established to meet modern healthcare demands, the center promotes the concept of "integrated mind-body treatment" and aims to become a regional base for sleep medicine. Located in the Heavy Ion Rehabilitation Department (Building 5, Heavy Ion Center), it comprises 4 physicians, 3 psychotherapists, 6 rehabilitation therapists, and 6 nurses. The center is equipped with advanced facilities, including a polysomnography room, psychological stress analysis room, neuroregulation room, mindfulness meditation room, functional training room, physical therapy room, and traditional Chinese medicine therapy rooms. It also features high-end psychological assessment systems, slow-wave sleep cabins, VR relaxation systems, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and neuroelectrophysiological therapy equipment. With 10 specialized beds, the center provides inpatient and outpatient care for insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, sleepwalking, RBD, and adolescent sleep and psychological disorders.
