Anti-fraud Promotion in Hospitals to Strengthen the Protective Safety Net
To further enhance the awareness and ability of the young league members and cadres in hospitals to prevent telecom network fraud, effectively curb the occurrence of telecom fraud cases, and safeguard the property safety of young people as well as the harmony and stability of the hospital, the Communist Youth League of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital organized a special training session on anti-telecom fraud on September 24, which was attended by all league cadres and young staff .

The training specifically invited Yang Gang, a police officer from the Anti-Fraud Center of the Liangzhou Branch of the Wuwei Public Security Bureau, as the keynote speaker. Based on recent frequent cases of telecom fraud, the presentation systematically explained the main types of current telecom fraud in a "case analysis + risk warning" format, including common scams such as "posing as customer service for refunds," "fake online investment and financial management," "impersonating e-commerce logistics customer service," and "brush tipping rebates".

Targeting the characteristics of the young league member demographic in the hospital, the police officer emphasized the analysis of fraud methods related to the healthcare industry, such as "impersonating hospital leaders to request transfers" and "fake academic conference payment fees." He detailed the psychological tactics used by scammers who exploit "authoritative identities," "urgent scenarios," and "profit incentives" to carry out fraud, and stressed the "Three Don'ts and One Do" anti-fraud principle: do not click on unknown links, do not readily believe calls from strangers, do not leak personal information, and when encountering suspicious situations, promptly call 110 or the 96110 anti-fraud hotline for help.

After the training, the young league cadres unanimously expressed that the training content was practical and closely related to daily life. They not only gained a clearer understanding of the new tactics of telecom fraud but also learned specific preventive methods. In the next step, the hospital's Communist Youth League will continue to carry out anti-fraud promotions through various channels such as bulletin boards, WeChat public accounts, and departmental morning meetings, aiming to extend anti-fraud knowledge to every staff member and patient's family, working together to build a positive environment of "national anti-fraud, joint efforts for peace" .
