Warm Free Clinic in Wunan: Protecting the "Lifeline" of Kidney Patients

— A Record of the Joint Charity Clinic by the Department of Nephrology, the Blood Purification Center, and the Bu Lao Song Health Management Center

With the warmth of spring in the air and a deep sense of compassion in the heart, on the morning of April 23, a charity clinic themed "Caring for Kidneys, Enjoying a Healthy Silver Age" was organized by the Department of Nephrology and the Bu Lao Song Health Management Center of our hospital and brought to Wunan, Wuwei. The event featured four major service sections: a blood pressure and blood glucose testing area, a chronic kidney disease risk screening area, a dialysis access maintenance consultation desk, and a health education corner for chronic diseases in the elderly. The clinic attracted over 180 participants, including local residents and registered kidney patients. More than 200 copies of educational materials were distributed, including The Home Dialysis Self-Management Manual and The Red-Yellow-Green Guide to High-Potassium Foods.

One day of free clinic, a lasting commitment.

Protecting kidney health is not a distant goal—it lies right here among our neighbors and communities.

Delivering quality nursing care goes beyond the dialysis room—it extends into communities, homes, and daily life.

Gratitude to every colleague who walked alongside us, and respect to every kidney patient who embraces life with courage—

Your trust is our greatest motivation to stand guard over the "lifeline."
