Wuwei Medical Equipment Domestic and International Sales Enter the Fast Lane
—Hospital Signs Contract with Nationally Renowned Medical Equipment Sales Enterprise to Accelerate Global Professional Promotion
On November 2nd, the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center of Gansu Provincial Wuwei Tumor Hospital, together with Wuwei Boruiling Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Kelairuidi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony and new product launch event.

From now on, multiple medical equipment produced by the Medical Transformation Center of Gansu Provincial Wuwei Tumor Hospital, such as bladder volume detectors, diaphragm pacemakers, and 360-degree ion therapy chairs, will be exclusively represented by Guangzhou Kelairuidi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., and professionally sold nationwide and globally, aiming to achieve annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan by the end of the '15th Five-Year Plan'.
Previously, the Wuwei Heavy Ion Medical Engineering Transformation Center had achieved breakthroughs in the export of high-end medical equipment, with the bladder volume detector exported to the UK and US three times. Moreover, it independently developed a series of core equipment such as the 360° rotating and lifting ion radiotherapy chair and positron detection and positioning instrument (PET-CT detector), which not only filled the gap in Gansu Province's high-end health industry but also broke foreign technological monopolies, injecting 'Wuwei strength' into the domestic production and international development of China's medical equipment.

As an important platform for heavy ion tumor treatment in China, the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center adheres to clinical demand-driven research and innovation. The four devices implemented this time are all rooted in years of clinical experience. The already marketed bladder volume detector addresses the difficulty of organ movement affecting target accuracy in pelvic tumor treatment, achieving non-invasive monitoring with errors controlled within 2mm. Among the three devices under research, the hospital deeply participated in optimization: the external diaphragm pacemaker reduces the average weaning time of patients by 1.8 days, the infusion monitoring management system achieves second-level alarms and data synchronization, and the radiotherapy fixation device achieves positioning errors ≤ ±2mm and reduces operation time by 40%, fully meeting the precision requirements of heavy ion therapy.

Gansu Provincial Wuwei Tumor Hospital, by deepening hospital-enterprise collaboration, is building a growth pole for the local medical equipment industry, jointly establishing a closed-loop mechanism of 'R&D-clinical-iteration' with enterprises, promoting the transformation of medical equipment manufacturing towards high-end and internationalization, and injecting new vitality into regional industrial upgrading. Through technological innovation, it addresses clinical challenges in tumor diagnosis and treatment, improves diagnosis and treatment quality via the widespread application of precision medical equipment, and allows more patients to share in medical innovation achievements through market promotion, demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of medical institutions in safeguarding people's livelihoods and serving society, and providing the 'Wuwei experience' for the development of tumor diagnosis and treatment in the northwest region and even nationwide.

In recent years, Gansu Provincial Wuwei Tumor Hospital, based on the development pattern of 'Two Engines Traction and Five-Level Burst', has actively promoted dual breakthroughs in medical equipment innovation implementation and domestic and international market expansion. This not only vividly practices the 'innovation-driven development' strategy but also drives the Wuwei medical equipment industry into the fast lane of dual-wheel drive by 'technological innovation + market expansion', injecting strong momentum for regional medical equipment to go national and radiate overseas, and contributing key strength to the economic construction and social livelihood development of the city and province.
In the future, the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center will take this cooperation as an important starting point, continuously deepen clinical collaborative innovation between hospitals and enterprises, focus on breakthroughs throughout the heavy ion radiotherapy process, strive to explore more high-quality innovative solutions, and promote the leapfrog advancement of tumor diagnosis and treatment capabilities towards 'more precise, safer, and more efficient'. It will empower the construction of Healthy China with technological breakthroughs, allow medical innovation achievements to benefit more tumor patients in the northwest region and nationwide, inject lasting momentum into promoting the balanced distribution of high-quality medical resources and enhancing people's livelihood and well-being, and demonstrate the responsibility and commitment to serving national strategies and assisting regional high-quality development.
