To further strengthen the supervision during and after the clinical application of medical technologies, improve the management of restricted technologies in clinical practice, and ensure medical quality and safety, the National Health Commission has revised the 2017 edition of the National Catalog of Restricted Technologies and the corresponding clinical application management specifications, resulting in the National Catalog of Restricted Technologies (2022 Edition) and the Clinical Application Management Specifications for National Restricted Technologies (2022 Edition). To standardize the clinical application of proton and heavy ion accelerator radiotherapy technology and guarantee medical quality and safety, the National Health Commission has formulated the Clinical Application Management Specifications for Proton and Heavy Ion Accelerator Radiotherapy Technology (2022 Edition). These specifications require that medical personnel in relevant institutions undergo standardized training before practicing proton and heavy ion accelerator radiotherapy technology.

The Chinese Medical Doctor Association will hold the second session of the "Standardized Training on Clinical Application of Restricted Medical Technologies and Proton and Heavy Ion Accelerator Radiotherapy Technicians" in Wuwei City in September 2025. Prominent domestic experts will be invited to provide on-site explanations and discussions on cutting-edge and hot topics in proton and heavy ion accelerator radiotherapy. This training program is co-organized by the Heavy Ion Center of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital and the Tsinghua Great Health Team. Participants who pass the assessment upon completion of the training will receive a training certificate.
