Former CEO of the German PRO-HEALTH Medical Group and Director of the Munich Proton Therapy Center, Professor Hauffe, returned to the Gansu Wuwei Heavy Ion Center on December 10 to resume his long-term work engagement. Our medical team conducted in-depth exchanges with Professor Hauffe on heavy ion therapy techniques, participated in instructional ward rounds, and engaged in multidisciplinary team (MDT) consultations. Together, we systematically reviewed and optimized the quality control standards for heavy ion therapy technology and refined the patient treatment protocols. This collaboration enables our hospital to continuously learn from international advanced treatment methodologies and concepts, enhance clinical expertise and diagnostic capabilities, and elevate our quality control standards to internationally recognized levels.
