Celebrating the Success of the Hematologic Malignancies Standardized Care Training Workshop: Professionals Unite to Advance Oncology Solutions!
On June 28, the provincial continuing education program "Training Course on Standardizing the Diagnosis and Treatment of Hematologic Malignancies" was successfully held in Conference Room 8 of the main building at the Heavy Ion Center of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. The event was hosted by the Beijing Research Association for Chronic Disease Prevention, Control and Health Education and organized by Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. The training course brought together numerous renowned experts, scholars, and professionals in the field of hematologic tumors to jointly explore standardized diagnosis and treatment strategies and the latest advancements in hematologic malignancies. The aim was to enhance the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of medical practitioners at all levels, promote multidisciplinary collaboration, improve patient outcomes, and support the implementation of the "Healthy China" initiative.

At the opening ceremony, Nie Peng, Deputy Director of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital, delivered the welcome speech, extending a warm welcome to the attending experts and participants and emphasizing the significance of the training course in improving the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic malignancies. Subsequently, Xi Yaming, Chair of the conference from the First Hospital of Lanzhou University; Gao Wen, Chair of the conference from Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University; and Bai Qingxian, Chair of the conference from Xijing Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University, delivered speeches expressing their expectations and support for the training course. They hoped that the event would serve as an important platform to foster academic exchange and enhance diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.





The training course featured in-depth discussions on multiple key topics, offering a rich and diverse program that included theoretical lectures, case-based discussions, and hands-on workshops, delivering a high-level academic experience for healthcare professionals.
During the academic presentations, Professor Gao Wen from Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University delivered an insightful report titled "Annual Review of Rare Plasma Cell Disorders," providing a comprehensive analysis of the latest research advances and clinical practices in rare plasma cell diseases. Professor Bai Qingxian from Xijing Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University elaborated on "Optimizing First-Line Treatment Options for MCL," sharing valuable insights and approaches for treating mantle cell lymphoma. Professor Min Haiyan from Yunnan Infectious Diseases Hospital / Yunnan AIDS Care Center discussed "Diagnosis and Treatment Challenges of HIV-Associated Lymphoma," broadening participants' understanding of hematologic malignancies in special populations. Professor Zhu Feng from the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University provided a detailed overview of "Comprehensive Management and Practical Experience in CAR-T Cell Therapy," showcasing the application prospects and clinical experience of CAR-T therapy in hematologic tumors. Professor Yang Lijie from Xi’an International Medical Center Hospital explored "Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation for Multiple Myeloma," offering important references for its clinical application. Professor Liu Bei from the First Hospital of Lanzhou University introduced "Research Advances on Menin Inhibitors in AML," bringing new hope for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia. Finally, Professor Yue Lingling from the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University conducted a thorough analysis of "2025 CSCO Guidelines Update on Plasma Cell Neoplasms: Multiple Myeloma," helping participants stay updated on the latest diagnostic and therapeutic standards.

The successful hosting of this training course has established an authoritative and professional academic exchange platform for healthcare professionals in the field of hematologic malignancies, facilitating the dissemination and sharing of the latest diagnostic, therapeutic knowledge and technologies. By strengthening standardized diagnosis and treatment, enhancing professional competencies, promoting multidisciplinary collaboration, advancing frontier research in the field, and improving patient outcomes, the course has significantly elevated the standardized management level of hematologic malignancies across medical institutions at all levels. This ultimately delivers higher-quality medical services to patients and better prognostic outcomes.

At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Wang Cong, Director of the Hematology Department at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital, delivered the closing remarks for the training course.
