On July 20, 2024, Wuwei's medical community welcomed a grand academic gathering—the 5th Annual Academic Conference of the Wuwei Medical Association Oncology Committee, the 2nd Annual Academic Conference of the General Practice Committee, and the inaugural meeting of the Wuwei Minimally Invasive Digestive Surgery Quality Control Center, alongside a workshop on standardized minimally invasive surgical treatment for gastric cancer. The event was grandly inaugurated in the first conference hall of the Heavy Ion Center at Wuwei Academy of Medical and Science Cancer Hospital.
