--"Standardization and Competency Enhancement Program for Oncologic Imaging Diagnosis" by the Oncology Imaging Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association - Wuwei Station & the 7th Annual Conference of Gansu Anti-Cancer Association Oncology Imaging Committee Successfully Held at the Heavy Ion Center of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital

On November 24, 2024, the Wuwei Station of the "Standardization and Competency Enhancement Program for Oncologic Imaging Diagnosis" – jointly hosted by the Oncology Imaging Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association and organized by Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital with the Oncology Imaging Committee of Gansu Anti-Cancer Association – along with the 7th Annual Conference of Gansu Anti-Cancer Association's Oncology Imaging Committee was grandly convened at the Heavy Ion Center of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. This landmark event not only signifies a new developmental phase for China's oncologic imaging diagnostics but also establishes a high-level academic exchange platform for medical imaging professionals across Gansu Province and nationwide.

At the opening ceremony, leaders and distinguished experts delivered heartfelt welcome speeches, expressing their warmest reception and sincere gratitude to all attendees. They emphasized that this initiative holds significant importance in promoting the standardization of oncologic imaging technologies and enhancing diagnostic competencies, which will provide substantial support for early tumor detection and treatment.

This conference invited 16 renowned imaging medical experts from all over the country to give lectures. As a key participant in this initiative, Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital's advancements in clinical imaging expertise and research capabilities have garnered significant attention. At the end of the conference, Professor Guo Shunlin gave a summary. He highly praised the academic level and organizational work of the conference, stating that the successful convening of this conference is of great significance for promoting the development of tumor imaging technology in China. At the same time, he also expressed his hope that the participants would continue to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation, and jointly contribute to the improvement of the level of tumor imaging diagnosis in China.
