CCB Gansu Vice President Xiao Xiao Visits Wuwei Heavy Ion Center for Research

On August 20, Xiao Xiao, Vice President of the Gansu Branch of China Construction Bank, along with a delegation, visited the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center for an on‑site tour and research, and held a bank‑hospital collaboration symposium in Meeting Room 1 of the Heavy Ion Campus.

Prior to the meeting, Xiao Xiao, Vice President of the Gansu Branch of China Construction Bank, and the delegation toured the heavy ion treatment area, central control room, treatment rooms, research platforms, and inpatient wards, gaining a detailed understanding of the heavy ion treatment workflow, clinical operations, research platform development, and patient care. Xiao Xiao highly commended the center's innovative achievements in heavy ion therapy and targeted drug development.

The symposium was chaired by Qiu Jinjun, Party Secretary of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. During the meeting, Ye Yancheng, President of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital, delivered a special report titled "Introduction to China's First Heavy Ion System and the Wellness Industry," providing a detailed overview of the construction and operation of the Heavy Ion Therapy Center, research‑based treatment for benign and malignant diseases, precision therapy research and innovation, the development of the Heavy Ion Wellness Town, and the three‑carriage wellness service model. Xiao Xiao, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Gansu Branch of China Construction Bank, stated that the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center holds a leading position both domestically and internationally in heavy ion therapy and targeted drug development, with strong development momentum. The Gansu Branch of CCB will fully leverage its comprehensive financial advantages as a major state‑owned bank, offering a bundled financial services package tailored to the hospital's needs, using financial resources to support heavy ion therapy and new drug development.
