As a Grade 2 Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Peking University, Professor Ma has dedicated nearly forty years to clinical practice, research, and education in urology. He holds key academic positions, including Standing Committee Member of the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and Head of its Kidney Transplantation Group, and has received prestigious awards such as the Wu Jieping Urology Medical Award and the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award. He is nationally renowned for his expertise in high-difficulty procedures including robotic/laparoscopic radical resection of renal cell carcinoma with vena cava tumor thrombus, giant adrenal tumor excision, nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy, and orthotopic bladder reconstruction. With over 30 SCI papers and more than 300 articles in core journals, he is a benchmark expert in the diagnosis and treatment of renal cancer tumor thrombus and minimally invasive urological oncology in China.

Now, by traveling to Lanzhou for regular consultations and surgical guidance, he is implementing cutting-edge technologies and advanced concepts in the Northwest region, establishing a direct channel for patients in Gansu and the Hexi Corridor to access care from a national-level expert.
