On July 16, our International Medical Department hosted a warm and candid forum for international inpatients, inviting 4 foreign cancer patients — from Serbia, Jordan, Korea, and Malaysia — along with 4 family members, to share their care experiences and needs in person. Centering on treatment planning, cross-border procedures, multilingual services, and dietary accommodations, the meeting established a barrier-free bilingual communication platform. Patient feedback was carefully documented and reviewed, with a commitment to translating every sincere suggestion into concrete service and technical improvements — further solidifying our position as a premier cross-border oncology care provider along the Silk Road.

At the forum, a Korean gastric cancer patient about to be discharged expressed gratitude for the overall care, while noting that the local cuisine's heavy spices and seasonings did not suit their palate, suggesting customized meal options for international patients with milder taste preferences. A Jordanian brain tumor patient raised a concern about bathroom facilities — the initial apartment's wet room lacked a dry-wet separation — and our team promptly relocated them to Dongli Hotel with proper partitioned bathrooms. A Serbian prostate cancer patient and a Malaysian lymphoma patient had no negative feedback on living services, and both praised the hospital's garden-like ecological environment and multilingual guidance services.

Throughout the forum, the hospital's garden-like ecological environment and overall comfort received unanimous praise from patients of all four nationalities. The feedback they shared focused primarily on lifestyle details — culinary preferences and bathroom amenities. Our hospital responded on the spot, committing to carefully review every suggestion and promptly implement service improvements. Going forward, we plan to use pre-admission questionnaires to better understand patients' dietary and accommodation preferences in advance — making cross-border care not only clinically excellent but also warmly personalized.

Leveraging its domestic heavy-ion treatment system, our hospital has built a full-chain international medical service system — featuring a multilingual official platform, smart VR guidance, personalized meal customization, and religious and humanistic care — serving patients from around the world. These refined, patient-centered services have solidified our foundation for high-quality international healthcare, with the number of foreign patients steadily rising year by year.
