In the vibrant peak of July summer, the gynecologic ward at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital maintains a well‑organized clinical routine and a strong academic atmosphere. In the early morning, Professor Wen Qiang from Zhejiang Cancer Hospital visited our gynecology department to provide clinical guidance, sharing expertise, teaching techniques, and broadening perspectives through complex case discussions and live demonstrations of high‑difficulty surgical procedures. His solid professional expertise has contributed to the steady improvement of our department's gynecologic care capabilities.

Professor Wen Qiang is a highly regarded young expert in the field of minimally invasive gynecologic oncology in China. He holds a Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Zhejiang University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. In 2014, he completed a visiting fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in the United States. He currently serves as a member of the Endometrial Cancer Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Committee of the China Anti‑Cancer Association, a member of the NOSES Committee, and a standing committee member of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee of the Zhejiang Anatomical Society, among other academic appointments.

With years of clinical and research experience in gynecologic oncology, Professor Wen has authored the translated monograph Precise Neurovascular Anatomy in Radical Hysterectomy, and has published over 20 academic papers, including several high‑impact articles in Q1 and Q2 SCI journals. He has participated in multiple national and provincial Natural Science Foundation projects. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the First Prize in the Scientific Research English Competition at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, the Second Prize in the Surgery Video Competition of the Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the First Prize in the "Qianchao Cup" Surgery Video Competition in Zhejiang Province.
