Professor Zhang Aimin – Academic Exchange & Clinical Guidance at Our Hospital

On June 13, Professor Zhang Aimin from the Department of Pain Medicine at Sichuan Cancer Hospital – the affiliated cancer hospital of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China – visited the Department of Pain Medicine at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. During his visit, he conducted consultations on complex pain cases, provided guidance on minimally invasive interventional procedures, led teaching rounds, and delivered academic lectures. Drawing on his expertise in comprehensive cancer pain management and advanced minimally invasive interventional techniques for chronic pain, Professor Zhang helped elevate the hospital's pain medicine capabilities to a higher level, bringing high‑quality, patient‑centered care to patients in the Hexi region who suffer from cancer pain, neuropathic pain, and other forms of intractable chronic pain.
