Minimally Invasive Cancer Therapies Symposium Held at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital
On June 13, the Clinical Symposium on Minimally Invasive Tumor Therapies was successfully held at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. The symposium brought together a number of experts, scholars, and healthcare professionals in the field of minimally invasive oncology from across the province and beyond. Participants engaged in in‑depth discussions on key topics including uterine fibroids, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), radioactive seed implantation, ablation of ground‑glass nodules, and thyroid pathology diagnosis – effectively advancing the high‑quality development of regional minimally invasive cancer care.
At the opening ceremony of the academic session, Fan Xiaoli served as the host. Vice President Nie Peng delivered a welcome address, and Director Teng Tingping, as Conference Chairman, gave an opening speech. They extended a warm welcome to all attendees and emphasized the importance of the symposium in enhancing the level of minimally invasive cancer treatment at the hospital and in surrounding areas, as well as in promoting academic exchange and collaboration.
