The guardian of health -Warm Home Care
In the fast-paced modern life, with the increasing demand for health and the pursuit of convenient medical services, door-to-door nursing service, as a new health care model, is gradually entering thousands of households, providing great convenience and care for special groups such as people with mobility difficulties, the elderly, and patients with chronic diseases.
It was an ordinary morning when Nurse-in-Charge Ye received a call from the family of a patient. The patient was an elderly and frail person who had difficulty moving around due to diabetic foot and had been bedridden for a long time, resulting in urinary retention. The family hoped that the nursing staff could come to their home to insert a urinary catheter for the patient to solve the existing health problem. After receiving the call, Nurse-in-Charge Ye immediately learned about the patient's condition and recent situation and conducted a detailed assessment. After the assessment, it was determined that the patient was eligible for home service. After communicating with the family and preparing the necessary items, the nurse-in-charge arrived at the patient's home quickly under the escort of an ambulance. Upon arrival, the family seemed to see hope and hurriedly asked the nurse to examine the patient. The nurse saw the elderly person lying in bed, inquired about the patient's condition, measured the patient's blood pressure, filled out the informed consent form for home nursing services, and explained the purpose and significance of the operation to the patient to obtain their cooperation. The family signed the consent form, and the nurse encouraged and comforted the patient to cooperate. After completing all the necessary work for the patient, the nurse successfully inserted the urinary catheter for the patient according to the standard operating procedures. The patient and the family were very grateful and excitedly said, "It is because of you that the patient's suffering has been reduced to the minimum."

With the intensification of population aging and the miniaturization of family structures, many families are confronted with practical difficulties in caring for the elderly and the sick. The traditional medical treatment model often requires patients to go to the hospital in person, which is undoubtedly a major challenge for those with limited physical conditions. Home visit nursing services have emerged as a response, breaking the spatial constraints of medical services and extending professional medical care to patients' homes. This not only reduces the burden on patients and their families but also enhances the timeliness and humanization of medical services.

Nurse home visit services, with their unique advantages, are gradually becoming an indispensable part of the modern medical service system. They not only effectively complement the traditional medical model but also represent an important measure for building a harmonious society and enhancing the health and well-being of the people. In the future, with the continuous advancement of technology and the continuous optimization of the nursing service model, home visit services will not only provide patients with convenient and safe service experiences but also demonstrate the care and responsibility of the service industry. In the future, we will continue to explore innovation, improve service quality, and enhance social responsibility to create a more humanized and considerate medical service system for patients. Let's join hands and work together to safeguard the health of patients!
