The "Clarify Rules and Observe Discipline·Practice Medicine with Integrity" Integrity Knowledge Competition at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital Concludes Successfully

In order to further implement the requirements of exercising full and rigorous governance over the Party and continuously advance the construction of a clean hospital, on the afternoon of October 11, Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital held the "Clarify Rules and Observe Discipline·Practice Medicine with Integrity" Integrity Knowledge Competition in Conference Room 1, Second Floor, Heavy Ion Building. Comrades including Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary Chen Jianfeng, Vice President Ye Kui, and Assistant to the President Zhang Zhenshuai attended the event and served as judges. A total of 26 contestants from 13 teams across the hospital competed on the same stage, setting off an upsurge of "promoting learning through competition and promoting integrity through learning."

This competition was divided into two stages: preliminary and final, featuring three segments: team-required answers,quick response , and risk interaction. The questions covered contents from rules and regulations such as the "Central Eight-Point Regulations and Their Implementation Rules," "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Disciplinary Actions," "Nine Guidelines for the Integrity Practice of Medical Institution Staff," and the "Ten Prohibitions" of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital, testing both theoretical knowledge and practical strategy. In the preliminaries, the required answer segment saw steady and solid performance, while the quick response segment was a race against time. The top 6 teams stood out and advanced to the finals. At the final site, the risk interaction segment brought the competition to a climax. Teams "staked points" to answer questions based on their real-time scores, leading to alternating leads and continuous applause and cheers.

After more than two hours of fierce competition, the team from the Second Administrative Party Branch outperformed all others and won the first prize. The Party Branch of the Heavy Ion Center, Lanzhou Branch, and the First Internal Medicine Party Branch won the second prize. The Second Surgical Party Branch, Second Internal Medicine Party Branch, and Gastroenterology Party Branch won the third prize. The remaining 7 teams received excellence awards. Attending leaders presented honorary certificates and prizes to the winning teams and took group photos.

This competition was not only a major training of knowledge but also a remobilization of integrity education. It is hoped that all medical staff will internalize the concept of "integrity" in their hearts and externalize it in their actions, serving patients and society with a more high-spirited mental state. The participants unanimously expressed that they would take the competition as a new starting point, always keep discipline tense in mind, adhere to the original aspiration of practicing medicine, and jointly build a clean hospital.
