Healthy China • Primary Care Liver Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Capacity Building Project" Visit to Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County Hospital

The "Experts Going to the Grassroots Level - Volunteer Service Tour" Learning from Lei Feng "Famous Doctors Delivering Health" Volunteer Service Demonstration Project and the "Healthy China · Primary Care Liver Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Capacity Building Project · Tianzhu Trip", co-sponsored by the China Medical Education Association and the Beijing Chen Jumei Foundation, was successfully held at Tianzhu Tibetan Hospital on July 25, 2025.

The opening ceremony was attended by Chen Haizhong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Tianzhu County Health Bureau, and Director of the County Center for Disease Control; Zhang Changlu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Tianzhu Tibetan Hospital; and Zhang Wenhua, Honorary President, Chief Expert, and Director of the Hepatobiliary Center of Wuwei Cancer Hospital of Gansu Province.

Leadership members from Tianzhu Tibetan Hospital and hepatology experts from Wuwei Cancer Hospital delivered academic lectures. The training session brought together over 150 participants, including relevant medical professionals from Wuwei Cancer Hospital, Tianzhu County Hospital, Tianzhu Tibetan Hospital, and member institutions of the local medical consortium.

​​Experts Going to the Grassroots – Volunteer Service Initiative" Lei Feng Spirit "Famous Doctors Delivering Health" Volunteer Service Demonstration Project​​ and ​​"Healthy China – Grassroots Liver Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Capacity Enhancement Project aim to improve the liver disease diagnosis and treatment capabilities of grassroots medical personnel through training, exchanges, screenings, and free clinics. The initiative seeks to provide more accessible medical services for patients at the grassroots level and promote the optimization and upgrading of primary healthcare services.

The convening of this conference not only provided an excellent platform for exchange among experts and scholars in the field of liver diseases and other related disciplines but also injected new momentum into the enhancement of grassroots liver disease diagnosis and treatment capabilities. Attendees unanimously expressed their commitment to leveraging this conference as an opportunity to further advance research in liver disease and infectious disease diagnosis and treatment technologies, aiming to deliver higher-quality and more efficient medical services to patients.
