On June 22, the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Hospital successfully hosted the "Hospital-Enterprise Joint Research Symposium." The event brought together renowned experts and scholars from Peking University Third Hospital, Peking University People's Hospital, Fujian Cancer Hospital, Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital, and Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center to engage in in-depth discussions on the latest advancements and research projects in heavy ion medical technology.

The forum was chaired by Professor Wang Junjie, Director of the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center. Subsequently, Director Wang presented appointment certificates to establish Expert Workstations for: Professor Xu Qin (Fujian Cancer Hospital), Professor Zhang Min (Peking University People's Hospital), Professor Zhang Siliang (Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital)
This milestone marks a new step in the industry-academia-research collaboration for the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center. The participation of these three experts will inject strong momentum into the hospital’s technological innovation and scientific research development.

Deputy Director Li Xiaojun provided a detailed overview of the construction progress, current status, and clinical operations of the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center, highlighting its leading position in heavy ion therapy.Following this, Chief Physicist Professor Wu Jiaming delivered a keynote report titled:"Explanation of the dDVH Treatment Plan Evaluation Method and Its Practical Outcomes."Through comprehensive data and case studies, he elucidated the principles, applications, and clinical efficacy of dDVH technology, sparking lively discussions and strong interest among attendees.


Focusing on Innovation, Deepening Collaboration
During the research project demonstration session, experts engaged in robust exchanges on challenges and innovative directions in proposed studies. Scholars from Peking University Third Hospital, Fujian Cancer Hospital, Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital, and other institutions actively contributed insights, providing valuable recommendations for the implementation of future projects. This laid a solid foundation for advancing the R&D and application of heavy ion medical technology.
