On the momentous occasion of the 5th anniversary of clinical operations at Wuwei Heavy Ion Center—China’s first clinical application base for heavy ion therapy—we extend our sincere greetings and cordial invitation to you!

Since its launch in March 2020, the center has delivered precision medical care to over 2,000 cancer patients, covering 50+ cancer types including lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, and glioblastoma. Through exceptional clinical outcomes and groundbreaking innovations, it has become a global benchmark in heavy ion therapy. Over these five years, the center has pioneered world-first technologies such as:

• High-frequency oscillatory ventilator-assisted carbon-ion radiotherapy (for respiratory motion management)
• Bladder volume-controlled radiotherapy (for bladder cancer)These advancements have opened new frontiers in oncology treatment.
