Focusing on Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Gynecologic Cancers
To further enhance the diagnostic and treatment standards of gynecologic cancers in our city and provide patients with higher-quality medical services, the 5th Academic Annual Meeting of Gynecologic Oncology Committee, Wuwei Medical Association and Symposium on Latest Advances in Gynecologic Cancers were held on September 21 at the Heavy Ion Therapy Campus of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital.
This conference gathered experts, scholars, and medical professionals specializing in gynecologic oncology from leading hospitals across China. Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the latest research findings and cutting-edge clinical advancements in the field of gynecologic cancers.
At the symposium, Professor Liu Kaijiang from Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Zhang Qingming from Gansu Cancer Hospital, Professor Li Yilin from Gansu Provincial Maternity and Child-care Hospital, along with Professor An Cunlian and Director Wang Ruimei from Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital—renowned authorities in the field—delivered in-depth presentations on core topics including the pathogenesis of gynecologic cancers, the urgency of early diagnosis, the necessity of multidisciplinary collaborative approaches, diagnostic methodologies, and treatment strategies. Their insights injected innovative pathways and methodologies into the clinical management of gynecologic malignancies.
