In clinical practice, the hospital has developed three major branded diagnostic and treatment systems focusing on oncology, digestive system diseases, and cardiovascular diseases. The Radiation Oncology Department has entered the 3-year construction cycle of National Clinical Key Specialties, while the Oncology Department has passed the provincial on-site evaluation for clinical key disciplines. The hospital has been approved as a Provincial Model Stroke Prevention and Treatment Center (Comprehensive Stroke Center) and certified as a China Primary Chest Pain Center. The hospital has established a Continuing Education Base (Medical Training Center) and serves as a clinical teaching hospital for Lanzhou University, Hexi University, and Wuwei Vocational College. It is also a postgraduate training site for master's degree programs at Lanzhou University and Gansu University of Chinese Medicine. The hospital is equipped with advanced facilities such as virtual dissection tables and digital comprehensive emergency skills training systems.
