Liangzhou Media Convergence News (Reporter Zhang Shanshan) — To further unleash urban consumption potential and boost cultural, sports, and tourism spending, the 2025 Wuwei "Heavy Ion Cup" & "Green Origin" Southern Airlines Fly-Bike Open (Liangzhou Station) will kick off on May 18 with the theme "Cycling the Hometown of Heavenly Horses, Exploring the Charm of Liangzhou!"

It is reported that the event is divided into a competitive group and a leisure cycling group. The competitive group includes: men's road race (34.5 km, 15 laps), women's road race (23 km, 10 laps), and men's mountain bike race (23 km, 10 laps), with approximately 400 participants (subject to actual attendance). The competitive races will be held near the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center. The leisure cycling group includes: the Tianma Challenge for public fitness (77 km) and the Liangzhou Wind Chaser for public fitness (26 km), with around 1,000 participants (subject to actual attendance). The main route is: Wuwei Heavy Ion Center → urban main roads → Miaoshan Village, Xiehe Town (southern mountainous area).
