With the crisp autumn air and dreams pursued on the field, the 23rd Staff Culture and Arts Festival Ball Games of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital, themed "Gathering Ion Energy, Unleashing Athletic Spirit," successfully concluded on September 12 at the Wuwei Heavy Ion Center. Organized by the hospital's Trade Union Committee, the games featured four competitive events: volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and Baduanjin. Staff from clinical, medical technology, rehabilitation, radiotherapy, administrative and logistics departments, as well as the Lanzhou Campus, participated fully — with 36 teams and over 480 employees taking part. Medical professionals who normally serve on the frontlines of patient care, diagnostics, and administrative support set aside their white coats to become athletes, sweating and striving on the field.
