[Rule of Law Safeguards • Advancing Medical Practice] Continuously Promoting Legal Training to Strengthen the Legal Defense Line for Medical Safety
To thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and deeply integrate legal education into the entire process of medical business training, effectively enhancing medical staff's legal literacy and capacity for practicing in accordance with the law, and in accordance with the hospital's annual legal work plan and the requirement for pre-positioning legal training before business training, on September 26th, prior to the official launch of the standardized training on basic professional knowledge of oncology organized by the Department of Science and Education, the training titled "Uphold Legal Bottom Lines, Safeguard Medical Safety" – aimed at enhancing the legal literacy of medical staff – took the lead. Over 200 medical staff from the hospital participated in this training.

This training strictly adhered to the work deployment of "Popularizing Law First in Business Training." It focused on the core needs of legal construction in the medical industry, closely integrated with clinical practice, and provided in-depth explanations on topics such as the mandatory reporting system for the protection of minors and guidelines for the identification of medical advertisements. During the training, Lawyer Ma Pengbin, through methods like legal provision interpretation, case analysis, and risk alerts, translated abstract legal条文 into specific guidance relevant to medical practice. He systematically outlined the legal risk points in various stages of medical services, clarified the boundaries of rights and responsibilities for medical staff in lawful practice, and guided everyone to firmly establish the bottom-line thinking that "laws must not be violated, discipline must not be broken."

The training content was closely aligned with clinical needs, practical, and effective. It not only strengthened the medical staff's understanding of laws and regulations related to healthcare but also effectively enhanced their ability to use rule-of-law thinking to solve practical problems, laying a solid legal foundation for the subsequent standardized conduct of diagnosis and treatment work in oncology.
The "Rule of Law Safeguards • Advancing Medical Practice" series of legal trainings is an important initiative of our hospital to implement the higher-level deployments on legal construction and advance hospital governance according to law. In the future, taking this training as a new starting point, the hospital will continue to promote the deep integration of legal training with various types of business training, covering all scenarios including education and training for cadres and staff, training for new employees, training for newly appointed middle-level cadres, and specialized training for physicians and nurses. This will make legal education a "compulsory course" in the growth process of medical staff, continuously improve the level of lawful practice throughout the hospital, strengthen the legal barrier for the hospital's high-quality development, and provide stronger support for safeguarding the health rights and interests of the people.
