To further advance the Healthy China strategy, provide tangible services to local residents, and enhance public health literacy, the Lanzhou Branch of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital successfully held a community public welfare clinic at the Juranzhijia Residential Community on April 28. The event, themed "Specialized Public Clinic for Liver, Gallbladder, Pancreas, Gastrointestinal, and Urological Health – Safeguarding Residents' Digestive Well-being," brought quality medical resources right to the residents' doorstep, receiving a warm welcome and widespread praise.

On the day of the event, residents from the community, having learned of the clinic, queued up orderly and consulted with our medical experts in turn, guided by the staff. Our team of specialists patiently and meticulously interpreted medical reports, answered health-related questions, and provided easy-to-understand science education on rehabilitation care, as well as the prevention and treatment of common diseases. This clinic distinctly embodied the characteristic theme of "Integrating Chinese and Western Medicine for Holistic Physical and Mental Wellness." Through multi-disciplinary expert consultations, the hospital conveyed a holistic health concept to the public—focusing not only on the effective treatment of diseases but also on the regulation and recovery of overall physical and mental well-being.

In addition to expert consultations, the event offered free basic health check-up services such as blood pressure and blood glucose measurements. Various health education brochures were distributed, covering practical knowledge on preventing common diseases, maintaining a healthy diet, and engaging in scientific exercise, which attracted many residents to stop by, collect the materials, and learn attentively.

This public clinic is one of the significant initiatives by the Lanzhou Branch of Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital to give back to the society and serve the community. By bringing high-quality medical resources directly into the neighborhood, it not only allowed residents to access high-level medical consultation services conveniently at their doorstep, effectively raising public health awareness and self-care capabilities, but also further bridged the distance between the hospital and the community residents.
