1. Patient: Male, 60 years old, Diagnosis: Liver Cancer

2. Medical History: The patient underwent a physical examination at our hospital on December 31, 2021. Abdominal MRI revealed liver cirrhosis and a small hepatocellular carcinoma in segment S5 of the liver. On January 4, 2022, a liver biopsy was performed. Pathological results indicated hepatocellular carcinoma (liver mass biopsy tissue). Immunohistochemistry results showed: CD34 (+), CK19 (small bile ducts +), CK7 (small bile ducts +), Glypican-3 (+), Hepatocyte (+), and Ki-67 (positivity rate approximately 15%). Surgical treatment was recommended, but the patient and family refused due to the high surgical risks. Subsequently, the patient underwent carbon ion radiotherapy in our department in January 2022, with a dose of DT: PTV: 45 GyE/10 fractions, and an iTV boost of 15 GyE/10 fractions. Follow-up examinations showed complete disappearance of the lesion.

3. Treatment Plan:

Carbon ion radiotherapy for liver cancer, total dose of 60 Gy (RBE)/10 fractions.
