Integrity in Action: Upholding Honesty Together

To further promote the hospital's integrity culture and strengthen all staff's ideological defenses against corruption, the "Upright Spirit · Integrity Together" themed speech competition was grandly held on the afternoon of May 30th in Conference Room No.1 of the Heavy Ion Main Building at Gansu Wuwei Cancer Hospital. Selected contestants from various Party branches and individual participants gathered together to compete, using resounding voices to convey their integrity beliefs and sincere passion to interpret medical professionals' responsibilities, delivering a soul-cleansing "integrity culture feast" for all hospital staff.

This competition closely focused on the theme of integrity in the medical field, aiming to guide all hospital staff to firmly establish integrity awareness and adhere to professional ethics by combining job realities with genuine emotions to express their profound understanding of "ethical medical practice." The event sought to make integrity and uprightness the solid foundation safeguarding the hospital's high-quality development.

During the competition, contestants delivered speeches rooted in their clinical practice, with content closely aligned with the unique characteristics of the medical profession. Their presentations demonstrated both a clear awareness of integrity risks and heartfelt expressions of medical mission. By incorporating real-life cases and moving stories, they profoundly interpreted the essence and value of ethical medical practice. Some speakers spoke passionately, while others shared poignant narratives, firmly embedding the concept that "integrity is the foremost quality of a physician" in the hearts of the audience. They traced the moral choices made in clinical practice, urging all staff to strengthen their defenses against corruption. Through the meticulous details of daily work, they showcased unwavering commitment to prudent medical conduct. At the same time, they pledged to "preserve the purity of the white coat," making sincere commitments that resonated deeply with the audience. The room erupted in applause repeatedly, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

After intense competition, the judging panel evaluated performances based on multiple criteria including thematic depth, linguistic appeal, and stage presence. The final awards were announced as follows:
