Graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Medicine, he previously served as the Party Committee Secretary of Liangzhou Hospital in Wuwei City. Currently, he holds several key academic positions, including Standing Committee Member of the 3rd Tumor Endoscopy Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Standing Committee Member of the 6th Digestive Endoscopy Branch of the Gansu Medical Association, Vice Chairman of the 1st Clinical Precision Medicine Committee of the Gansu Medical Doctor Association, Vice President of the 4th Wuwei Medical Association, Chairman of the Wuwei Digestive Medicine Committee, and Professor at Wuwei Vocational and Technical College.  

pioneer in advanced endoscopic techniques, he was among the first in Northwest China to perform early gastrointestinal cancer detection and intervention (2007) and endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFR) for early gastric cancer (2013). He also led the adoption of ERCP (2007) and pioneered per-oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), gastric POEM (G-POEM), and submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER) in Gansu Province (2012), performing these procedures with the highest case volume in the region.  

As the academic leader in digestive medicine in Wuwei, he has published over 20 first-author papers in national core journals and holds 3 invention patents, 2 design patents, and 1 Australian innovation patent. He has led 8 major national projects, including healthcare reform initiatives, public welfare research programs, and key R&D plans, with 7 ongoing national projects. His work has earned him 10 provincial and municipal science and technology awards, including the Wuwei Technological Innovation Excellence Award (1st Prize), Gansu New Technology Innovation Award (3rd Prize), the 11th Provincial "Outstanding Technological Innovation Achievement" (2nd Prize), and the Gansu Medical Science and Technology Award (1st Prize).  

Recognized for his contributions, he has been honored as a Gansu Provincial Model Worker, Advanced Individual in Medical Ethics, Provincial-Level Key Discipline Leader, Wuwei Leading Talent, Wuwei’s First "Tianma Craftsman," and First-Tier Leading Talent of Gansu Province.
